Red Wolf Wolf Moons Linda ThomasSundstrom Books
The Wolf Moons series is especially innovative, as the supernatural beings have their own special traits which let them respond differently from your typical werewolf. Linda Thomas-Sundstrom has developed a well-crafted paranormal tale where the reader will be kept emotionally involved from start to finish. RED WOLF stirs the imagination with its unique take on the world of werewolves, where scenarios are emotionally intense and the unexpected frequently occurs.Although Tory McKidd knows the park where her murdered brother was found is exceedingly dangerous, her only concern is locating the one responsible for killing her beloved sibling. As a werewolf, she is aware of the ruthless rogue who is a shifter like her but only brings suffering to both humans and other werewolves in Miami. Determined to see him pay, she frequently roams the park hoping to discover the whereabouts of this elusive being. One night, a human cop is chasing a criminal, and one brief glance is all it takes for a powerful connection to be formed between them.
By being a cop, Adam Scott is fulfilling his dream to protect others, and he gets plenty of chances by working the night shift. When he saw a woman for only a moment following an exhausting pursuit, thoughts of her constantly keep invading his mind and make it difficult to concentrate on his current case which is surrounded with much mystery. Tory does not particularly like cops as she feels they did not handle her brother's case well, yet realizes she and Adam are now linked with a possible future together. She also comes to understand his association with her could lead to him being in danger from the rogue werewolf, so Tory plans to make certain no harm comes to the human for whom she is coming to care.
Linda Thomas-Sundstrom entwines wonder with reality to create a compellingly fascinating paranormal read. The mystical aspects are believably depicted and leave one speculating as to what course of action would be followed if the same situations arose around you. Ms. Thomas-Sundstrom has given her werewolves their own abilities and does not follow the norm, making her story inventively original. When readers are introduced to Tory and her lifestyle is revealed, they will be charmed by her compassion and awed by her capabilities. The way werewolves blend in with the humans seems convincing, and left me wondering if there is the slightest possibility of fiction becoming fact. There are several extremely touching scenes where inner feelings come to the surface, and these sentiments frequently cause the reactions of Tory and Adam to be fueled by heartfelt sincerity. The desperate longing felt by these two for the other adds much tension to their lives, and also makes the passion between them all the more potent when they finally meet. Theirs is a complex love story, and the author definitely has numerous trials arising all throughout the book. When it comes to the suspenseful circumstances, some are frighteningly realistic and will leave your heart pounding as you await the outcome. There is another story in the intriguing Wolf Moons series next month, and I am very eager to see what happens. RED WOLF captivates with the enthralling combination of suspenseful supernatural phenomenon, earnest emotions and a passionate romance.

Red Wolf Wolf Moons Linda ThomasSundstrom Books Reviews
If I was looking for a good paranormal series about werewolves, its debatable if this one would deliver the goods. I bought a romance and expected one. Instead, I find myself halfway through the novel and seriously considering not finishing it. Why am I in chapter 12 with the love birds having met only twice. Once, they only had a small bit of eye contact for the "imprinting" to take place, and the second for a raw sex scene with barely an introduction of the couple to each other. As it is, I am thinking what's her name-oh, Tory, I had to look it up, and Adam aren't very likable, and I think, it's mostly because I am frustrated with the story--which I know is a story instead of getting lost in it.
Listen, Ms. Linda Thomas-Sundstrom, for two people to believably fall in love, they need to interact in more than just the groin area. You messed up you're entire story by forgetting you're writing a romance. I want to see the couple together. I want to watch them figure each other out and fall in love because of each other strengths and despite their weaknesses, not because of some magical author tool called "imprinting". Big whoop, they can get it on in the most carnal of ways. It's called a one night stand, not a lasting relationship.
Total waist of time and money if you're looking for a romance, but if you like to be frustrated and watch the characters spin their gears, having sex, and then spin their gears some more without ever really talking to each other before they call it love and a done deal, this series if for you.
The author must have completely immersed herself in her character portrayals to give us gorgeous redheaded Tori (the Were) and Adam (human officer about to be detective) and finely drawn secondarys, especially Delmonico (Adam's temporary rookie sidekick) who became the lead in her bonus novella at the end of the book (also recommended). I say all this because the romance is conducted as no other I have read, entirely to the credit and honesty of the author. I love the pace, the complications of police life, the tearing apart and rebuilding of philosophical, ethical, and heartfelt conundrums created by Tori and Adam's inexorable attraction. Soul mates.
The author has found a way to present the attraction, repulsion, fear, lust, and love just as you would suppose beings, paranormally linked, might fight it, accept it.
This fast-paced page-turner never forgets the key to any great and memorable romance, how the hero and heroine feel (and act).
The too dark and dangerous park in Miami with death lurking at the hands of a maniac renegade werewolf and his pack will make you shout `get out of there' to those who enter.
In Miami Tory McKidd stalks the park where her brother Mark's body was found six months ago as she obsessively seeks to bring justice to his murderer; were-style. Night after night she impatiently waits while dreaming of torturing the culprit like her sibling received from a rogue shifter, but no clue surfaces though she knows a werewolf pack is near.
Miami Police Detective Adam Scott investigates the park homicide and is following leads to the culprit. When he meets the amateur sleuth sister of the victim, they are instantly attracted to one another as she knows he is her mate. However, she also realizes the killer of her brother targets her soulmate for death.
This is an action-packed romantic urban fantasy in which from the onset, when Tory stalks Miami while Adam wonders who the mystery woman is and why she walks with purpose at night in dangerous areas, grips the reader to know whodunit. Fast-paced with an engaging lead couple though the plot is a bit thin, fans will enjoy this pleasant paranormal police procedural.
